Is every game of Balatro possible?
I've been really enjoying this game. I've red staked every deck and am working on orange stake with the red deck. I've finished 6 challenges and have 100% collection. working on higher stakes has me wondering, is every seed at higher difficulty possible to go all the way through ante 8? I've found myself "r" restarting whenever I don't find anything good in the store within the first 4-5 rounds because I doubt that run will ever get all the way. I don't mind losing and don't expect to win every game or anything like that, but I'd like to know that it's because I'm not good enough and not because there was just no feasible way to beat that seed. So, is every seed beatable at high stakes?

Not a clue, I guess you could copy the seeds you lose on and give them another attempt with a different strategy.
Theoretically , there should be runs that you'll be too unlucky to beat. But there is so much you can do to improve. From the complex odds of what the best discard is, what hands to play, what to buy in shop , when to reroll, keeping up your interests without getting too weak, to hand order/joker order ,ect ect So im quite sure that most wins should be winnable for the best players. but aside from top poker players, pretty sure for most players a lot of gold stake runs will become unwinnable after a slight mistake. why i tend to reset a lot also haha

Without being clairvoyant there are a lot of seeds on high difficulties that you're better off just resetting instead of letting them die a slow death that won't read ante 8. As for seeds that are truly impossible they're probably pretty rare, you just have to somehow know that if you full discard your entire hand twice you'll get a 6s 10s Full House even though you only had one of each to start with no other synergy followed by aim for a Club Flush only and anything else you would have tried is guaranteed failure, which is exactly what happened to me once when I tried replaying the same boss blind several times to see if it was even possible.

My assumption is that "no, not every seed is possible."
Mostly just on a "there are way too many factors involved" stance.

With RNG - sure there are games you can do nothing wrong, and not win

Where you don't get the 'drops' needed to progress, where RNG just screws you over

Going to happen

I do suspect they exist where the scaling beats the available drops but they're rare, super rare, ones like Amp discussed where paths exist to victory but, you won't find them easily or by making the 'right plays' probably somewhat more common

Any tricks on beating anything past small blind difficulty? Feels like you have to reroll constantly as if you don't get an OP joker your done.

Yep, reroll until you get a joker that can carry you through a couple of antes looking for some proper multipliers. That's really about it.

Best advice I can give is realise (if you don't already know) that pairs are the strongest hands and pair synergy is what you should aim for 80% of the time on high difficulties. The torn joker that gives +20 mult for 3 card or smaller hands, gros micheal, any cards that have synergy with pairs, etc are all top tier and will really help your run get going if not be the best thing you get the entire game.

On gold stake i honestly wonder the opposite, how many seeds are Possible, its probably a really low number.
