Bug? Held-in-hand trigger order

I could not get the "Queens give +8 (was it 12?) Mult when held in hand" common Joker to trigger before the "Kings give 1.5x Mult when held in hand" rare Joker.

If that first Joker and the Queens in hand were on the left, since everything triggers left to right, it still would trigger the Kings first. Is this because held-in-hand Mult multipliers always take priority? I've had Jokers that give Mult multipliers on the rightmost side that do it at the end.

Each card triggers in order from left to right for "cards in hand" triggers, so you'd just need to sort your hand so that your queens are to the left of your kings in your hand. The Joker placement for the Jokers that grant "cards in hand" triggers don't matter, since the Joker's aren't what are doing the triggering themselves.

If you indeed had your queens and the joker sorted to the left and the kings triggered first, it does look like a bug.

Yep, after I noticed it I purposely moved the Queen joker to the left of the King, and the Queen cards to the left of the King cards in my hand for good measure, all before playing a hand.

It watered down the power of that Rare Joker for the Kings. I think the only things it ended up multiplying were played Mult cards that count first.

I mean turning your Kings into Steel cards is nothing to sniff at, but other Jokers that give Mult multipliers can be reliably triggered at the end if they're on the rightmost side.

It didn't water it down, it gave you a chore to manually move queens to the left every time you play a card.
The jokers don't give any + or x mult. They make the held in hand cards trigger that effect in the held in hand phase (which is before the joker phase). Held in hand cards trigger from left to right, but you can move any card anywhere.

The same thing happens with cards in the played hand if you have photograph, you want your first face card as far right as possible if anything else gives +mult.

I swear that I've gotten these effects to trigger in the right order but it did take some moving shenanigans.
I mean, nevertheless, Baron is easily the highest value Joker in the entire game and the key to going beyond Ante 12, I figure.

Ok, so the order is that the cards held in hand need to be arranged QK, the joker order doesn't matter, as these cards are processed during the "cards held" phase (after cards played, before jokers).

Fourth time my brothers in Christ, the cards were arranged from left to right.

The link doesn't work but if it contradicts what happened to me, then yes, it was a bug.

The one thing I did notice is that any time cards are added to your hand, they get re-arranged in descending order, so you always have to keep moving the Kings around.

Thank you so much. Hero! This is exactly what I did with the placement of Queens, Kings, and for the sake of it, Jokers. I had less going on since I was only on Ante 2 or 3, but I didn't have the foresight to screenshot the other variables. It really was a bug then (you'll basically have to take my word for it).

I can say at the least that it was consistent - it happened in about three rounds - and that I had at least one other Joker. I kept doing it on purpose. I'm just glad if it stays a one-off thing.
