Likelyhood of legendary jokers?

What is the likelyhood of legendary jokers?

I started counting after a while and I got 1 after 79 small arcana, 33 big arcana, 23 small spectral and 11 big spectral packs.

Is this the average? Because it seems insanely low to me that there's 1 per 402 tarots and 90 spectral cards.

Maybe I am wrong, but AFAIK legendary joker can only come out of 1 specific spectral card: The Soul

I think he means the chance of getting The Soul spectral card in arcana and spectral packs.

Oh, in that case I read somewhere it's 0.3%, which would be about 1/333 but I don't know if that's accurate or not, but would be in line with the results above.

That's 0.3% chance per card that appears, and is based on the code of it getting a pseudorandom number and comparing if it's bigger than 0.997. Pseudorandom calls math.random without arguments, which in lua returns a number between 0 and 1, eg 0.74830981146053 (actual example result).
I can also confirm now that they only appear in tarot and spectral packs, never in the store or from any other spectral/tarot generation method.

Alright, so about 1/231 tarot/spectral cards from packs on average? It's really rough tbh. I might get like 4 gold stake decks before I get all the legendaries.

I think in the hundreds of runs Ive done, Ive seen the Soul Stone 4-5x at most.

Different packs have different number of rolls, and I'm not sure (yet) if all packs have the same chance of appearing in the shop, but if they are then the average odds for any spectral or tarot pack is about 3.46/333. Not sure that number is entirely useful though :P
Small tarot pack is just 3/333, small spectral is 2/333, and the larger pack variants are 5/333 and 4/333.
Main issue with gold stake is that pack costs go up each ante, so you can't buy as many and will thus see less soul cards.

I meant that 0.997^231≈0.5 so if it's 0.3% chance per card you would have a 50% chance to get one in 231 cards.

Well, I had:
79 3-tarot
33 5-tarot
23 2-spectral
11 4-spectral
So they definitely have different probabilities of showing up in the shop.
