casually get it over the years, maybe yes
..........???????????????????????????????????????????????
But as said, it's a long term achievement for people who like the game. It's like asking "who in their right mind would get the Dead God achievement in Binding of Isaac.
or are you more a fan of performing insignificant tasks that reward you with meaningless achievements.
I mean no one said we must gold sticker five Jokers at once, it's possible to just play normally and carry a spare one you need to win with Gold Stake. It is doable, just takes time to get there.
The other day I happened to get the first Gold Stake win and it feels really good. Achievements are to show your commitment to the game, after all.
Yeah right. Balatro isn't deep enough game to keep you engaged with years. You MAY come back to play it in couple of months/years, but not something that will keep you engaged all the time. Even better card games failed to do that.
After 3-5 years there will be 0.0000001% of players that will unlock Completionist ++, out of which all of them will use the "steam achievement unlocker", except maybe 1 or 2 real psychos or the dev himself.
A truly awesome feature.
edit: if its a form of OCD i can understand it, but other then that i dont get the need to get all achievements. the best kind of achievements or challenges are those you make for yourself to overcome, like a SL1 run in dark souls for example
Literally as I was writing this I got hit with a whooping six Negative tag, followed by three more in Endless so I ended the run with 15 Jokers lol. People constantly skips Negative if it doesn't work in their build, forgetting that having it in your roster when you win counts for whatever stake they're playing ong.
But in my opinion, the best achievements are the ones that either reward you for mastering the game or make you approach the game differently you wouldn't typically think about.
think Hitman or Dishonored - to never be detected, BG3 for finishing the game without dying on the hardest difficulty.
these achievements are for the fans of the game, things they could do before they have seen or done everything there is.
This is game is no Isaac with its 100s of item combinations nor is it a slay the spire with its fun modding scene. and you will just never be able to get this by accident even if you were tio play for 1000s of hours.
