mime doesn't retrigger blackboard ?

title says all, got both in my current run and it seems like black board isn't being re-trigger by mime even tho it is a "card held in hand" type thing. is it perhaps because it's "cards" plural and not "card" singular ?

Technically not a bug, Mime retriggers all card "held in hand" effects, while blackboard is a joker effect with a condition that happens to be related to cards held in hand. It doesn't trigger any of the held in hand cards.
It could really use an exception, since it sounds so ridiculously related and wouldn't be OP if it did work. But technically this is a case like "hand" vs "hand size", sounds similar but is different.
