Saves and Continues not working

I'm finding that when while in the middle of a game, if I choose Main Menu, I don't have the ability to continue my game - the button is greyed out and not able to be selected. This also means that saves are not working between games.

I'm also finding that progress is not being saved after completed games either, so it seems to be a general problem with my profile.

To this point i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, deleting and recreating my profile, and deleting the files under AppData>Roaming>Balatro and creating a new profile.

Any advice?

Interestingly, the game saves work fine on another computer, and the updated saves show up on the not working computer. However, the game files under AppData>Roaming>Balatro never get updated with local activity on that not working computer...

Guess it's somehow being denied permission to write the file? Try running as administrator.

The issue was solved with the latest update (1.0.0-L), where something was changed with how saved games on symlinked directories work. My home directory was linked to a different drive on the non-working computer.

All is well now!
