Do I need to know how to play Poker for this?

It's pretty self explanatory, I've heard nothing but positive feedback for this game, but I also know it's reliant on Poker, do I need to know hot to play Poker to fully enjoy this game?

Not much. Only thing that carries over is understanding poker hands like Two Pairs, Flushes and Full Houses but the game teaches you what they are anyways.

There's no betting and any other mechanics of the game are new/self-contained enough where you can intuit your own strategies.

the only fundamentally "poker" thing you'd have to know is hand types, but the game has a button you can press whenever you want mid run that has a list of every hand type and even gives you an example if you hover over it, so it's very easy to understand
