Eternal Card Change

There's been a lot of discussion about changes that could be implemented in the game, but I think this one is simple:

If a Joker's effect requires it to be sold, it should not be able to spawn with the Eternal tag. I have been offered so many Eternal Eggs in High Stakes runs, and there's already enough difficulty without the shop throwing all these dead cards at me.

Side note, yes, there are a few things that technically can benefit from an Eternal Egg such as Temperance or Swashbuckler. But even with those in mind, no one in their right mind would ever pick an Eternal Egg. And there are others with this problem as well. Luchador, Diet Cola, and Invisible come to mind as well. Just... this seems like a very obvious change to me. The shop is tiny and re-rolls are expensive, at least have the decency to stop offering me "Pay money to loser a Joker Slot" cards.

(But also make Rerolls cheaper. FFS, re-rolls are so bad right now and borderline useless in early antes)

Well, good news: this is already in the game. Here's a list of cards that can't be eternal (outside of forced-eternal challenges, which is intentional):
-Gros Michel
-Ice Cream
-Cavendish
-Luchador
-Turtle Bean
-Diet Cola
-Popcorn
-Ramen
-Selzer
-Mr. Bones
-Invisible Joker

As for why they still appear in those challenges: it's a challenge. Not an easy.
And Egg is not on the list for reasons you've already stated - there's multiple things that use joker value, just because you're unlikely to want to use it does not mean you shouldn't be able to.

Egg definitely needs to be on the list. Yes, it "technically" has uses, but those uses are so insanely niche and insanely bad that you would still never, ever, EVER consider taking an Eternal Egg. Even if you got an Eternal Egg and a Swashbuckler in Ante 1. Saying it isn't good enough doesn't even begin to describe it. A two-Joker combo for a maximum of 68 mult by the final Boss Blind (plus whatever your other jokers are giving Swashbuckler. Say another +10 optimistically) is awful. And that's in the base-case scenario. Realistically you're never making it that high because you're never making it to Ante 8 because your garbage build died a long time ago.

Pretty sure Egg isn't on the list because eternal eggs are inherently funny. It's also only a common joker, and commons are already very near useless anyway (hi red card).

Absolutely not true. Scholar, Ride the Bus, Supernova, Blue Joker, Green Joker, Cavendish, Square Joker, and Walkie Talkie are all excellent, and many others have niche use or at least will help you during early ante. And the ones I mentioned by name even hold up in High Stakes High Ante.

And it being common just means that it's more likely to show up as an Eternal and kill half of your shop.
