If I got the money, and the open slots, and the time to prime it, and I don't have anything else already providing me x-mult, I'll grab it, but that's about it. Only other times I grab it is if I'm okay giving up a money joker in the mid-game.
Early-game, it's too inconsistent to lean on, and late-game, I've typically already got a host of jokers that give me benefits on every hand, and I'm typically not strong enough in build to just abandon a piece of that for a card that's ideally cheesed to be active every round, or strategically saved for a big hand against a boss.
