The Music is Kind of Pathetic

I know most people just mute the music and play their own stuff anyway but man is it the most basic music I've heard in such a game.

Otherwise I'm enjoying a lot about it.

I mean its not GOTY worthy but it complements the game really well

The issue isn't that the music is bad, it's not.

It's that there's one single solitary piece of music. It never changes, not even on the main menu.
While I often play games with no sound at all (only after I'm 'done' with them) this game is perhaps the only one I can think of I've ever turned the music off and just played with sound effects.
The music doesn't add anything. It feels like it's just kind of there for the sake of a game needing to have music to be 'complete'. Make maybe three more pieces, having a main menu track, a boss blind track and one that plays on the 'final boss' and that alone would made things much. much better

They could use a few more songs but the song is pretty damn good and feels very like what you would have had on old school great games.

Cause I do have quite a few problems with this game but music and general presentation ain't it.

I am not even gonna give you that clown award you want so much.

It's not bait and I don't care about awards. It's a single track on loop. It's fine for what it is but it's basic.

I'm really enjoying the game otherwise and you know what if you're loving listening to that one track for hours more power to you. Or do you have the music muted and play something else while you play?

Actually the music is multiple tracks but they are written in a way that they blend into each other such that you can't easily know when they are changing (unless you really study music theory and can tell)--in this way it's actually rather brilliant. Of course the style may not suit everyone's tastes, and I can accept that...

i can tell this game is made to appeal to a wider audience, with a more basic misic track and classic art on the basic playing cards, rather than some fantasy themes swords and sorcery thing with a rocking soundtrack like Slay The Spire.

i just spent 200+ hours playing The Last Spell and that game has some awesome metal tunes, but in reality , it's only 4-5 songs that play on loops and after 200+ hours, i'm finally tired of it.
I don't think any of those songs would fit the theme of this game.

I have watched some streamers play this and heard the music and am thinking i would get tired of this song after the first 20 hours myself, lol


ya know what would have been interesting is if the music was procedurally generated, so it would be random and different all the time, while still sounding kinda the same, not sure i'm explaining that correctly.
