ectoplasm should reduce your size hand by 1 each time, but the second extoplasme reduce your hand by 2 not 1 and the third is 3.
ohhh, okay I misunderstood. so the second card doesn't change to say "-2"? if so then i agree that seems wrong.
The cards do exactly what they say they do. When your second Ectoplasm says it'll reduce your hand size by two, it's looking at your CURRENT hand size, regardless of what else affected it. If you're thinking your hand size is still 8 after you already surrendered one to the first Ectoplasm, that's your mental block; the second says -2, and it gives you -2. You don't still have your cake after you eat it.
It DOES say "-2". And it then does exactly what it says it does. To be fair, someone might assume the card effect doesn't change after taking the first and not reading the tooltip on the second, but it does in fact correctly change to read "-2 hand size" (and "-3 hand size" on a third Ectoplasm).
If that's the case, then it's a bug, and it ought to be patched.
