Poker is a very easy game Balatro is like Poker 2.0 so it's more complicated than just straight up poker.

It's more complicated but also easier. It's honestly just a different game with a poker face. I'm not sitting at a table playing a pair against real people cause I have some modifier that makes pairs rule ass.

it honestly might help to know less about poker than being knowledgeable, you gotta kinda unlearn rules sometimes to win. sometimes RNG might give you an edge playing high cards or bad pairs which goes everything you're taught about regular poker (bar bluffing)
