[Suggestion] Madness needs changed.

On PAPER it seems like fun.
In PRACTICE Its almost unuseable. The scaling just doesn't work without a reliable source of Jokers. And since the only way to consistently get new jokers is a few other jokers (either directly or through other spawns),

So I propose a slight chance.

[When Blind is selected, chose to destroy a random Joker.
If a Joker is destoryed, Gain x1 Multi.
If a Joker isn't destroyed, lose x.05 Multi]

(altteritivly [lose x1] or [lose 50% X multi] if x0.5 is not enough)

Here's the fun thing: When you have Eternal Jokers, Madness will still pop but won't kill them or itself - so it'll just grow every round forever without harming anything, assuming you only have Eternals.

You don't need other jokers. It gains its x-multi and then destroys a joker.

And that X-multi doesn't scale scale fast enough to account for the effects of other jokers.

Eternals are nice, but unless there's a way I'm unaware of, they're only in black stake+

You mean a bit less than half, because black stake is level four, and so Eternals show up on stakes 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, and not on 1, 2 or 3.

Ir's an awkward joker for sure. I've tried using it alongside fodder jokers but it doesn't scale hard enough to justify this(I got it on ante 1). It really only works alongside eternal jokers.

I feel like the only way this joker becomes actually reliable is if we had a way to put an eternal sticker onto existing jokers.

Alternatively, it kills an adjacent joker , so at least you can fodder it properly

the only thing in this game i haven't unlocked is the get 100 million on a single hand card. so i've been refreshing ghost deck and beating the first two antes raw over and over and over and over hoping for an eternal madness. in two days it happened once. it was already chromed out so i couldn't afford it.

It can carry your run on its own if it also happens to be holographic, as I've won a white stake run with just that one joker.

I've also won a gold stake run using it alongside 4 eternals, so definitely not 'unusable' in either context.

I've won a white stake run with it being my only joker, it was foil and I got it round 1. Scaled to 16.5x before the run ended but that was more than enough to win.

Not only that but it's possible to hit the double floating point limit and get "Inf" chips scored on a hand.

At ante 39 unfortunately, the antes become Inf as well so that's the hard stop for the game.

i've been hunting all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day. i found madness five times. once it was already polychromed so i couldn't hex it or afford it. the rest of the time it wasn't eternal so useless to me. my back hurts

Unless you want to Ankh or Invisible Joker it, Madness itself does not need to be eternal. It never destroys itself, but it can destroy other copies of Madness.
