Joker bugs
I'm starting a discussion thread to catalog all the weird behaviors that jokers exhibit. I'm not 100% certain that any of the instances are actually unintended, but they definitely go against what I would expect.

1. When Riff-Raff activates after Madness, it will not fill two jokers if there were less than 2 open spots before Madness triggered. (This works how I would expect when Riff-Raff is after Ceremonial Dagger instead)

2. Baseball card still affects debuffed jokers.

3. Jokers created by selling Invisible Joker have Red Deck card-backs, regardless of what deck you are using.

Feel free to add more in the comments.

Jokers created by Ankh also have the red card back.
Guess it's Jokers created by duplication effects in general.
Definitely an intended behavior, but scaling Jokers (like Trousers or Ride the Bus) gain/lose no Mult while debuffed by the Heart. This causes funny interactions where you can discard without losing Ramen Mult, for example. Similarly, interval-based Jokers (Loyalty Card, mainly) don't tick down when debuffed.

Brainstorm and Blueprint copy the chips, but not the -hand size, from Stuntman.

Riff-Raff being able to create Editioned Jokers means it has a 0.3% chance to make a Negative Joker for free. It still needs an open slot, though.

I think Brainstorm and Blueprint only copy on-joker-trigger effects, so this is also intended. Same way they don't gain their own x/+mult bonus by copying a scaling joker for a while, plus other hand size jokers like Juggler are incompatible with them too.

This makes sense, though.

Joker rarities and joker abilities are separate things.

Rarity itself (common, uncommon, rare, legendary) does not hold inherent value.

Only things with value can be subjected to debuffing.

In other words: a joker isn't powerful because it is rare, a joker is rare because it is powerful.

Thus, I don't believe we'll ever see a boss ante stating "All rare and uncommon jokers become common jokers" because that would be virtually meaningless.

I can't negative Stencil joker with Ectoplasm... can you ?

Joker Stencil doesn't count copies of itself. I suppose that's intended. Slots would be x3 and each will say X5

Also pretty sure the Arm doesn't reduce the level of 5 of a kind, Flush House.

Can confirm this to be false, just verified it. Leveled Flush House up to 2, played against the Arm, played a Flush House, went to level 1.
Did you perhaps miss the change where Arm can't send you to level 0 anymore?

I had a single upgrade on it. Played a single hand to win. It's possible the animation went by so quick i didn't see it.
I'll check again my level before and after.

If you open a Joker pack revealing To Do List, then exit the game and restart and continue, you get the same cards from the pack but the initial target hand is different.

I suspect there are a bunch of things like this.

I just beat the arm again with the first hand. This time it was with a flush. I never leveled the flush it's level 1. The arm didn't de-level it to level 0. After winning it's still level 1.

Oh nevermind I missed your statement. I did miss the change it can't level down below 1

I've noticed that when you have Lucky Cat and Photograph and you use a Lucky Face card the cat just doesn't get its scale effect off of it.
