Mac version not optomised?

Im running the game on an M2 MBP. The fans are running (they basically never run) and after about 15 min of play, it's lost 10% battery.

Same for me on my MBP, takes about 2 minutes playing the game and the MacBook runs very hot, and the fans going at maximum speed. Massive battery drain also.

Looking in the performance monitor it doesn't look too bad, though, taking about 50% of CPU and GPU and memory.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
macOS Sonoma Version 14.2.1 (23C71)

I was assuming it might be a M-series thing, but might just be a MacOS thing.

Might be worth checking out if any other games made with LÖVE[www.love2d.org] have the same problem.

Same problem with MBP M1P, can barely play an hour until I'm under 30% battery.
