Smeared Joker + Wild Card issue

I was going for flushes tonight and got to the boss that disabled all heart cards.

Among my jokers I had the Smeared Joker (all red cards are the same suit and all black cards are the same suit) and was on my last hand when I played a flush that should have helped me go over. However, I had a wild card in there and it counted as a 'nothing' and I lost.

If all hearts were 'debuffed' but 5 hearts/diamonds still counted as a flush for that current flush level (chips + multi), why did the wild card not get included as a heart/diamond? It was included as a 'nothing' and it ended up counting the hand as a high card only.

The game should count a wild as a heart/diamond/club/spade and if any of those are debuffed it should be debuffed but still be part of a flush, just like a normal 5 card debuffed heart hand does.

All wildcards are always debuffed on all "debuff X suit" bosses. Debuff removes all enhancements on any cards, so it was no longer a wildcard when you played it. Therefore it was its original suit, so it must have been a wildcarded spade or club if it didn't count as a flush with your setup. This is not an issue, it's intentional.
