So having workshop enabled for this game would be ridiculous...

There is a (small) modding community on Discord with two different modloaders. The game itself isn't set up to handle mods, unfortunately (there are giant if...elseif... blocks checking for different cards to handle their abilities).

Looks better. Provides more functionality for more easily adding jokers and stuff, and doesn't require a separate mod or commandline file injection to provide custom graphics. Gonna probably make my motion sickness reducing mods compatible with this one this weekend, then think of what other content mod I want to create first.
