Can't use tarots

Any time I get a tarot card, particularly the ones which deal with changing/destroying cards in your deck, I can't ever use them. The "use" button is greyed out and non functional.

What's going on? I definitely have cards to enhance, so why can't I?

You have to choose which cards to enhance or change. Know that you can also rearange the cards for such stuff like Transforming a left card into a right card

pick the cards you want to use, make them hover above the rest of the deck

Another tip is that you have to have the right number of cards selected. So if the Tarot card enhances 2 of your deck cards, you must have exactly 2 of them selected before "Use" will light up.

Up to 2. You're allowed to choose fewer than the maximum targets for every card-targeting tarot card except death.
