Yeah that mechanic was obvious but then again you start running outta discards
It also emphasises the importance of stacking your deck. A vanilla deck has a considerably bigger risk of not getting you the cards you need, while a trimmed deck can have you discarding through your entire deck sometimes, and a deck stacked with certain cards makes gleaning information with the sort functions a lot easier. Also remember, there's a +1 discard voucher, though it's not available this demo I think, and the +1 discard joker. Apparently the full game even has a second +1 discard voucher you can buy after the first.
And as has been noted in most threads exactly like this, using certain tarot cards on a face down card flips it over for a little bit. Might want to turn down game speed real quick if you want to rely on this, but it can save you big time.
