Graphics setting request
First off, this game is very cool. Great art style, love the music, fun gameplay, etc etc. Solid all around. Having said that, I've noticed that the subtle swaying of the cards and other elements on the screen is giving me a touch of motion sickness. An option to disable that movement would be fantastic.

Individual cards will still move around a bit, but the global interface movement ceasing will probably help many people considerably.

I can't play this. It has too much motion sickness. I turned off the crt. I turned off the screen shake. I disabled full screen. The background is still moving. The cards are changing sizes. I'm physically ill trying to play this (like motion sickness, not hyperbole). Got to discarding in the tutorial and had to turn the game off.

Yes. I totally agree. I was excited to try this but the constant movement is truly awful.

+1, this is horrendous, would love to play otherwise

For me it's the scanline flickering on the CRT filter. Not sure if that's the right term, but I mean when a single row of pixels will randomly flash bright green or red. I guess it does capture the vibe of playing on an ancient video poker cabinet tucked away at the back of a bowling alley somewhere, and I do otherwise like the CRT filter enough to not want to turn it off (I think the game looks weirdly flat without it, honestly), but I'd rather just keep the cozy warm glow and ditch the obnoxious visual glitching.

Amazing game otherwise, can't wait for the full version. And +1 for a full "stay still, things on the screen" option for everyone even more sensitive, since the game is too good to be passed up for lacking such a basic accessibility option.

Yeah, the way the screen rotates to point at the mouse has given me motion sickness, which I really wasn't expecting from a 2d game!

on steam deck it's not too bad... but yesterday I wanted to show my roommate what the game was about on the big living room screen and the "swaying" motion immediately turned him off and gave him a headache, so you're not alone.

I have no issue with it personally, but seeing how my friend reacted to it, I believe an option to turn that off would be very appreciated.

Gah that's exactly what I needed! Too bad this answer only appeared after I finally beat Cerulean Bell lol. I'll definitely have that turned off in the full game though.

There is an option to disable the CRT effect! I think it's like a sliding bar of intensity.

ehhhh, still needs the cards (and numbers, and everything about the interface, etc.) to stand still

I'd say separate screen shake and screen+cards sway as two options. I like the screenshakes that are a classic in games, but the sway is too much, although I also get why you're using it.

Agree with everything said above, the swaying cards and moving background killed me. Had to turn it off after 15 minutes.
