Why not say "5 hand instead of 4"?
The reason is there are a particular Joker that +1 hand size but -1 hand per round, so if you have it on other deck, it'll be 3 hands but on Blue Deck, it'll be 4 hands. This is why devs can only say "+1 hand every round" instead of "5 hands": That number is not statistic.
I don't see why that would matter. "5 hand instead of 4" is not the same as "always 5 hand".
Well, "+1 hand" is even simpler, and even more clear.
I know. The other thing is called hand size. So what?
Now, see, this makes sense. They could still have used different phrasing, but ok, this might actually be the reason.
