What does "blue deck" do
It says +1 hand each round, but what does that mean? I don't get a larger hand size, or get to play more hands... So, yeah. Help?

Ok, I just started playing the next deck, and noticed I just had 4 hands. It was the "every round" that got me confused. Like, it seems that every round, something will get bigger. But it is just +1 hand, the end. I mean, it is every round, I guess, but it is just a confusing way to write it.

Why not say "5 hand instead of 4"?

Presumably other factors can affect your number of hands per round in the full game, such as a voucher or a blind. Those numbers might not always be 5 and 4.

The reason is there are a particular Joker that +1 hand size but -1 hand per round, so if you have it on other deck, it'll be 3 hands but on Blue Deck, it'll be 4 hands. This is why devs can only say "+1 hand every round" instead of "5 hands": That number is not statistic.

I don't see why that would matter. "5 hand instead of 4" is not the same as "always 5 hand".

But +1 hand each round is simpler, and very clear.

Well, "+1 hand" is even simpler, and even more clear.

Well, not really. "Hand" in a vacuum means a lot of things in this game, here it is specifically referring to the amount of hand per round you're allowed to play before losing.

I know. The other thing is called hand size. So what?

Reason for the exact phrasing is probably the tags that also give extra hands - for only one round.

Now, see, this makes sense. They could still have used different phrasing, but ok, this might actually be the reason.
