Favorite Strategies?
I had a good run using the Vagabond joker (who makes random Tarot cards if you're broke) to make the deck mostly hearts and diamonds - which made flushes easy to find. Used the planet deck to make flushes more valuable.

And it worked great until it didn't. The Wall was at 64,000.

Anyone else have some good strategies?

The vagabond plus the joker who gives you plus multi per tarot card used was a ton of fun. Combined withe the 'you only need four cards for a strait or flush' was awesome

Not enough to beat the final challenge, still working on that, but loads of fun

The white text on red background multiplier-multipliers are pretty important. Stuff like glass cards, but there's jokers that have it as well. You can get by with pure normal +mult if you have a guaranteed hand type with lots of planet cards for that, but then you're one boss messing with your strat away from losing.
If you ever get to a point where on the left side your multiplier goes higher than the other number when you play a hand and it adds everything up, you want to increase the other number instead. It's rare, but it can happen.

In general, flush on its own isn't that strong. There's ways to guarantee yourself stronger hands, like 4 or 5 of a kind. Stronger hands increase faster from planets as well, they're not just initially stronger. 5 of a kind that is also a flush is now an even stronger hand.

Some sources of normal multiplier are more useful than others. Some are entirely general, regardless of hand played, but for instance the "if your hand contains three of a kind" is very good for having to adapt. It activates if you have three of a card, regardless if your hand is three of a kind, so it applies to full house, four of a kind, etc.
Adaptability like that was less important during the last demo, but this time I'm finding it more relevant due to different bosses.

As for actual specific joker strats, I haven't played enough rounds in the new demo to say much. I had one where one joker increased the sell price of my jokers each round and one joker that added the price of the other jokers as mult, and got that pretty early on, that was pretty fun.
One joker ups the sell value of all jokers each round, another one adds multi equal to the sell value for all jokers to the left. An easy +4 multi added for every round was fun to see... although it doesn't quite scale high enough to be winning on its own.

Honestly I just spent my last game so broke I couldn't afford any Joker synergies, much less win with them :steamfacepalm:
Second game on the new Demo, I ran into Vagabond + Credit Card + Fortune Teller. By the end, it had something like... a +70 multiplier because I kept using High Cards to just farm for mult before deciding "yeah, I wanna win now"

I'm still experimenting with the new demo, but so far my favorite strat is running Flush/Flush Straight, stacking Droll/Crafty Joker, with Greedy/Lusty/Wrathful/Gluttonous (I tend to run spades, just preference), Merry Andy/Drunkard for the extra discards, and Mystic Summit for the extra Mult after discards are gone, preferably a couple are Holos or Polys, and you end up with an easy setup. Best run managed a 150k+ score on Cerulean Bell.

I second the Vagabond + Fortune Teller combo. If you get that, make sure to spend your money at the shop so you always have $4 at most during a game. The Vagabond will then constantly create tarot cards that you can use to boost the Fortune Teller's multiplier to ridiculous amounts. This combo is so powerful that I'm wondering if it'll even stay in the final release.

I Was having a lot of fun with a stacked Straight combo. I can skip a rank when forming Straights, I can form a Straight with 4 cards, I get +120 points on a straight, then two jokers for bonus multis on random cards. Boosted Straight into lvl 7.

Lost against Cerulean 59,609/60,000

It is not anywhere near the most consistent or easy, but the most fun build is when I can make Super Position work, but only in one direction. Going for A2345 you can mix it with Fibonacci, Odd Todd, Hack and maybe like fortune teller or one of the straight-boosting jokers. The idea is to slash and burn everything that isn't A-5 and thin your deck for consistency.

Honestly the most fun I have is with the Anaglyph Deck where there's this push-your-luck incentive to skip blinds and get double rewards. But the problem is that once you start skipping (esp. with the Throwback Joker) you end up playing a lot fewer rounds.

I also enjoy the Magic Deck with the Vagabond and churning the heck out of the Tarot cards. That's probably better for having enjoyable rounds.
