I can't see my mouse

In case anyone is curious, the mouse cursor is still BROKEN (not visible) on WIndows 11 Pro Insider Build 26080 (latest Insider build of Win 11 for March 2024).

If i start my computer new and start Balatro, i have no mouse cursor either.
I start another game, like Fifa or Wartales, quit them after playing for 1 second and go back to Balatro, Mousecursor appears.
So as a workaround, start another game and then go back.

I had the same problem on my laptop. Turning HDR off fixed it

The solution is

1. Get off Windows 11 Insider

or

2. Borderless Gaming

put the game in fullscreen window then add it to favorites automatic.

I bought Borderless Gaming a long time ago on sale, glad to have a reason to use it again.

Win 10 here. Mouse Cursor does not work. Will try windowed if I can get it to work without a mouse cursor, but otherwise directly refund.

Try closing discord or anything. I had some of the said issue like twice. But it fix itself.

Hi ive found a simple solution!

1. Download and Install Borderless Gaming at this link https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming

2. Change the Balatro game settings to windowed.

3. While Balatro is still running, select Balatro with Borderless Gaming app and put it into favorites.

4. Expand the game to to fullscreen with Borderless Gaming app and cursor will appear.

For anyone else with the issue, mine was related to having OBS open in the background. I closed it and it works now.

so i just discovered this issue, i am running on win 10, but for me, i found that it only hid my mouse when i had OBS running and capturing another application in windowed mode.
i had OBS capturing a wallpaper that was playing in windowed to be my background and it was only this exact situation that caused it for me, this is one weird as hell bug.
not sure if this will help anyone lol

This fix worked for me:

Mouse settings -> Additional mouse options -> Pointer Options -> Unselect "Hide pointer while typing"

Just installed and launched the game and the pointer is invisible. I can tell when I'm hovering over a button because it changes color, but if I'm not hovering over something there is no way to tell where the pointer is (aside from moving it around until it hovers over something by chance).

Unselecting "Hide pointer while typing" did not help
I am not running OBS or any screen capture utility
I'm not using an NVIDIA graphics card (I'm on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics)
HDR display is off

With some effort I got it to switch into Windowed mode, but that makes things worse because the graphics are frozen in that mode (the music continues to play).
