Thank you Supergiant Games for providing us such an excellent soundtrack for this game.
I can't wait to see your next game. I'll definitely be waiting to buy it.

I agree the music was really good in this game.

I love a good game where the soundtrack is actually the star.

THIS.

I bought the soundtrack and gave the game to my kids to play. (No disrespect meant there either - I'm just not into the platformer / combo type genre. I have 10 thumbs)

I think that from a worldbuilding perspective, having such a good soundtrack was more important for Transistor than it might be for another game.

Instead of giving us an abundance of information, Transistor is very precise and calculated with what it tells the player. One of the few things we can learn about the main character is that her music had a very intense, visceral impact on Cloudbank's citizens. The soundtrack makes that believable, and conversely if the soundtrack was weak it would probably have killed Transistor's setting.

I'm super digging the hummed version of Water Wall lately.

I personally thought this OST was nothing compared with Bastion's. I like it, but it's not as good to me.

Probably my favourite is Water Wall. It reminds me of another bit of music, but can't for the life of me remember what.

Bastions was good iirc, but it wasn't as integrated as this soundtrack is. I don't remember any songs from bastion but the sound from Transistor is so interwoven with the game that I don't think I'll be forgetting it anytime soon.

Agreed the timing of some tracks absolutely sent shivers down my spine. (THIS. THIS IS WHAT HAS TO BE HEARD RIGHT NOW.)

There is at least one vocal track in Bastion that felt strongly woven into that woman character and her view on the events/the protagonist. I don't have something better to do so I'm gonna look it up:
