Report a translation problem
I somehow managed to get it to work once but had to stop playing a few minutes later.
It would be good to know if you are all experiencing this with the same hardware/drivers, or different hardware and drivers.
If you run dxDiag and click on the Sound 1 tab you should see info for your sound devices.
I'd be interested in what you see for:
Device Name
Device Hardware ID
Drivers Name
Drivers Version
Drivers Date
Knowing if this is widespread, or affecting specific drivers will help us!
At this point I'm suspicious of a recent Windows update.
Alternatively, you can search for the program dxDiag
