Steam Deck Dock Mode Audio
I notice there are a lot of posts about fixing audio while in handheld mode, what do you all recommend for dock mode?

oh yes I found a workaround, launch the game in handheld mode, make sure you set internal and external resolution to 720p, then just connect to dock while the game is running, audio works fine. This may be fixed in Steam OS 3.4 preview btw, I read in the notes that there are fixes to audio for several games, not sure if this is one of them

still bugged... when docked it ignores audio settings and plays from internal speakers. Also, i noticed a big input lag

ignores headphones as well...
still bugged. I was excited because I read that if you use a PS4 controller in docked mode the sword will talk to you through the controller speaker but instead NONE of the audio works correctly! how did this game get a verified badge??
im confused why its not working for people, works just fine for me in proton 7.0.6, and we're talking about the same hardware here, not like I'm running some magical steam deck variant.

just word of advice, you're not supposed to use the latest proton version, you're only supposed to upgrade if a previous version did not work, always being on the latest proton version does not guarantee the game will work. It's just the nature of wine and linux gaming in general.
