If you want more replayability I suggest playing their new game Hades.
It has a NG+ mode called Recursion.
In this mode enemies will spawn randomly and you'll have all difficulty modifiers unlocked from the start and also keep your Functions (skills) and levels from previous playthrough.
So as you can see it has a certain degree of replayability.
Also, the game is worth it just for the soundtrack, like every other SuperGiant Games. These guys are geniuses at making music. And I'm dead serious. I'm never sure if I enjoy the game more or the soundtrack more lol
For sure and glad to hear you also enjoyed it! I agree, it's a genre I'm not all that interested in but one can't deny it being a legendary video game that even so many years later, new gamers can genuinely enjoy. It's THAT good!
