Gotta say, TCOAAL probably has the most interesting activity I've seen on steam forums

This could just me being selective (maybe I need to read more visual novels I don't know) but most threads I go to on Steam are pretty dry. They're usually about technical aspects. Alot of the threads here we talk about the themes, theories, and so on. They say we're a bunch of weirdos, maybe we are but we're certainly not boring

You've just never played an online-game that is shutting down or such a story of the developers leaving the team (sad that it happend, but good that it haven't happen before)

There was a similar occurrence over at the milk 2 forums. I was an active participant during December of 21, and there were constant talks about the game's main character.

Same here, I usually dont join topics (as well, you know,,people cant let you have an opinion without harrassing you for nothing) but these are pretty nice to read/reply to! ♥
I feel extremely safe (how ironic as this is a game with strong unusual themes) and I'm enjoying y'all company in peace!

Parroting many others here, but I noticed the same thing, too. I never cared much for anything going on in the community tabs for my games until this one! I've even thought about sharing some art here... I did see one rather unacceptable comment of someone encouraging another to harm themselves over the game, but to my pleasant surprise it was swiftly removed when I reported it. And it's nice to chat with others that don't immediately lose it over Bad Thing existing in fiction or judge others for enjoying it.

Well that should be expected that some a-holes will seep into your community. That doesn't make it ok of course but it's one of those things that can't be helped. Good thing it was taken care of
