How and where to build base camp.

i believe i have all i need to buid the base camp. i just need to know where to and how to to actually get the quest to trigger.
How big?
what all do i need in it?
Where is the best place to build?
What to build first?
What to build the walls out of?
Do i need to go into build mode for a building?
any answers to any of these questions would be helpful. as this is about all i have left to do.
besides better arming my followers.

Dwelling beds are all you need for workers. They don't mind if the bed is simply lying on the ground or if you build some impressive building around.

Foam script should be included with the bed script. I'm not sure, you can always check the merchants see if anyone have it (usually the one selling everything colony related, or the one selling decorations). It looks like a sponge.

Recycle, repair (and enhance) share the same screen, but they are different. You can select one of them using the tab above. The name pretty much describe the role.

7) And remember your base will be attacked (Main Core attracts monsters) so remember about turrets for defense. (and there are mistake to place a turret you need 6X6 cube not 4X4).

You have some interesting places to make a colony on this topic. Remember you'll need real land to have a farm (builded platform can't be used).
