Hi,

I'm at said quest, where I should put out the fishing lure... but I must have managed to delete the fishing lure or something like that... it is not in my inventory... is there any way to reget one?

when I lost mine I reloaded and kept a very close eye on the next one :) if you put it somewhere it may be really hard to find it.

how important is this mission? (reverting saves is sadly not an option:-/)

You need to follow the mission arrow to the yellow circle in the lake on the minimap. You can drop it anywhere inside of that circle to advance to the next step.

Problem is I lost the lure somewhere on the map... don't know where. Regaining the mission does NOT Regive the Lure. Also I don't find any recepy for this lure... So I'm stuck;-(

Look for it on the bottom of the lake opposite where you used it. It has a bad habit of deploying where the icon is against a voxel surface even if it is a long way away. First one I tried dropped close, every one after that did the above. If you see a cute little fish with a big head almost the same color of the bottom of the lake, you found it :P.

You have to use it in the underwater caves where the "!" is on the map. Can't remember if it was necessary, but it does lead to another quest and a big mystery/question concerning....

Big Problem is: I lost it anywhere at the map, because I didn't understand that that mission is a "follow" mission and portet away, now I refound quest npc, but did notice I don't have any fishing Lure.. hope this time my problem is clear...
@developers... please add any option to regain the lure if quest was aborted in between.

So you were able to get the quest again but no lure :/.... does sound like something that might need a fix. The lure may be a persistent item in the world, whether you have the quest or not, and may still be out there somewhere :(.

The Devs do read the forums, but you may want to file the issue on their main forum. Might be a sticky with a link.

Yeah, it's a quest bug so reporting it will get it fixed in the next build. They are very good about getting things that may be game breaking like this fixed.

I'm guessing you have tried abort quest and retake it again.

And it's not important at all. It's just interesting, at least for me :) But it ends straight at the lake. It has next chapters about what happened to fishes and all creatures but that's not written yet. You just won't get that npc back at the camp. But she is not important either it seems in this version.

Yeah I tried aborting and retaking multiple Times.. didn't help anything

Old thread, but @ <db> Dierte,

If you click on the writing icon next to the Backpack icon, sometimes you can abort the mission and get it back, but you should also constantly be rotate saving your games manually as well, with it being an Alpha and crashing and bugging all the time.

Thanks, I have aborted the quest and restarted the quest, but dont reaquire the item "fish lure". I have about 5 manual saves that I rotate through, unfortunately this time around I had spent several hours between saves and was hoping to avoid reverting. It would seem that is the only option left at this point. Thanks again for the reply.

No problem :) , I tend to save every time I do something in this game at the moment, because of the constant crashes and bugs, I actually put the Lure down in the wrong spot myself " just out of the mission circle ", and lost it but I had just saved before I started the mission so it was about 3 minutes lost.
