where to find ore if your strugling at finding it

Go to the beach where you start. Go along the beach towards the firebear nest and search regular. There are several big deposits under the sand, just below the surface. Just DONT dig too close to the water, it will flood your mine ;)

Or go towards the large tree/mushroom one of your early missions send you to, where you found the backpack of one of the survivors, go a bit north and scan and you should find it pretty soon. Just giving options.

There is a ton of gold and silver at the SE corner of the martian camp. Look for their landing site and the collapsed tent. Scan there.
