Quest "The Monster in the lake" is bugged

Story mode. Quest "The Monster in the lake" is bugged.
1. Bottom cave is empty.
2. Agnes drowned and quest resetted.

Having the same problem to, No big fish even after using the lure stuff, then agnes wants to go into the nest but she does not follow me into the cave underwater. She just keeps swimming in the lake above the cave while I am in the cave. Plus the scuba mask does not seem to be working either, I rember swimming a lot longer in that cave last time I did this part of the story, now it just seems to be normal breath and it is not slowed down by scuba mask.

I have same problems. I take this quest 10 times. Same bugs.

I too have reported this problem. I've been told they're looking at it.

While the endpart of the quest is impossible to complete(barring extreme terraforming, I suppose. I'll have to try that when I have time), getting Agnes into the cave in the first place can be done by using a boat vehicle with at least one passenger seat. Place it down underwater, and get in as it floats up. Agnes should teleport into the seat. When the boat floats up to the quest marker, it should count as both of you inside of it, progressing the quest.

I got her to go down by getting into my 2 seat bike, which sunk to the bottom and dinged the quest advance.. But then later she gets attacked by a fish and swims off to the far side of the underwater cavern, and then seems to be stuck in a pathing loop and dies from oxigen.. she swims around in a slow circle not able to figure out that she can just go around one corner. I tried digging down to her to try to get her to respawn outside the water, no luck.

That seems to be quite a regular thing lately. Exactly what did get done in the big update?

only reabuilding the entire game(or most of it) :) ofcorse buggs creap in when your original game doesnt quite fit into a new engine

Yeah realised after I made that comment that they had moved up to Unity 5, which is about a years worth of personal grief I'll wager.

Still broken. While Agnes does follow you into the cave, the final part, Out of the Water, is still broken. Agnes swims to some part of the norther wall of the cave, then drowns. Actually, she doesn't always drown, sometimes her head glitches through the terrain and gets some air(and players can do this to, if I recall).

Also, the scuba helmet is broken as well. Instead of reducing the rate of oxygen depletion underwater, it now rapidly depletes oxygen while worn regardless of whether you're above or under the water.

Yeah you would think that since it has been said over and over again that the scuba mask is broken that someone would have checked the +80% reduction and made sure it wasn't set to -80% reduction.

With today's hotfix, the quest is completable. Agnes is no longer dumb... well, no, I still can't quite say that, the idea of diving into a lake full of giant predatory fish in a deep cavern after having spent days on a planet watching everyone around her get eaten by giant land predators was hers to begin with. Cute, but still dumb.

Anyhow, the scuba helmet is still broken, and when doing the dive into the water right before the fish battle I noticed Agnes wasn't following quite as well as before the hotfix. I'm mostly just glad she got out of the water afterwards.
