Though we will not be working on PE any longer, your opinions and suggestions are very important to us. We still have a lot of work to do for PE2, and we hope that those who still maintain trust in us, will help us build PE2 into something we can all be satisfied with.

For those of you who purchased PE before it became free, it is our goal to provide an alpha build of PE2 for you to access freely during it's earliest stages. We will have more information on this later. You will also receive a discount coupon for PE2 when it becomes publicly available on steam.

Thankyou everyone who has supported us with this project. You have all taught us quite a lot, and I hope to see you in PE2~

The Planet Explorers Source Project Terms of Use

As of Oct 29th 2019, Pathea Games LLC has made the source code of Planet Explorers public. By downloading any portion of this project you agree to the terms in this document.

All assets under this project remain property of Pathea Games. Direct resales of recompilation is prohibited. You are encouraged to use them in non-commercial or hobbyist projects. If you plan to use them in a commercial project, a written consent from Pathea Games is required. This applies to any modified and derivative versions of the assets.

As for the code portion of the project, Pathea Games LLC does not provide technical support for such and is not responsible for any damage caused by use of the code.

All third-party plugins are intentionally excluded to avoid copyright issues. Pathea Games will not provide the plugins.

honestly, going by how the last official response on the topic was from nearly 2 years ago and it just being "we can't say anything but it's in the works, i pwomise" you can pretty much rest assured it was a hoax from the beginning.

like seriously, if they didn't want this suspicion they'd have shared something, even if it's just the concept plans or some kind of roadmap or whatever for what's to be expected of the game to come, but they obviously can't since there is no such game in the making.
i might be wrong, but until i'm actually proven wrong those entire PE2 talks are just a sad lie to pacify the masses and boost the sales of their other games.

i mean they scammed everyone with PE, did a sloppy AF job with MTAP and then moved straight to another sloppy crap game instead of delivering on what they sold first.

or at least working on some kind of compensation for those that bought their scam

They lost the part for the multiplayer. They used a paid (I believe that was what it was) code and something happened and they lost access to it.

it won't happen, we'll neither get a sequel nor any form of actual compensation from those incompetent scammers, there seriously is nothing else so say about it at this point.

Cant wait for PE2. I really didnt like MTiP, felt strange really strange.
