Vehicles move way to fast!
Is there a way to make your wheeled vehicle travel slower than eather top speed or upside down. Now, I know that I can tap the "w" over and over so my speed is not at 75kph, but that is a real pain. It would be nice if you could set the top speed at a different amount. Now I have tried changing the wheels and making my cars way tons, with one the wheels break and your car is dead, the other you run out of power way to fast.
Sorry, only ranting after going over a cliff that was on the road with a 90 degree turn on the cliff face. My car did not swim, but it was a fun crash

you might try to export an iso that someone has it already in the server , i think you have temporarly rename the iso and upload it , that might fix your issue

have you thinking of trying less powered engine , you can add more fuel and set them to be not visible

The vehicles that I am using , I make them and then export them to my game.

As for the engines I use the smallest one, the one you get in story mode, as for batteries as a rule I use four, I resize them by 50% that way they are easier to hide

there is a visible checkbox , just uncheck it and that part will be invisible , no need to do tricks to hide it ( some parts as fuel )

The whole point of my post is the fact that I am not playing Need for Speed, but a game of exploration and you can not exploror at 100kph, 50 would be nice to see

the maps are too big , there should be fast vehicles , how about sharing your vehicle to me to see what did you done , and if you suffered of drifting , try to change to be front wheeled or 4WD vehicle , that might help and 4WD maybe will reduce your speed

The maps are not to big, it is only the way you want to play. I pick the size of the map, and make a game plan on how I plan to explorer it. To fly all over the map as to open it up is not explorering, but to travel by foot or car and seeing everything from ground level give the game a whole different feeling.
As for changing what kind of wheels or how many drive you vehicle does not make much difference. The one that I am using now is a 6 wheel drive, need it for climbing mountains, and it travels at 75kph or more. Over time I have tried in build mode to change how many wheels drive the same vehicle, the only real difference is how far It will climb a mountain. On the flats it will travel at 75kph or more with one wheel or all 6.
Have you ever been in a vehicle when it dies? You die as well, and your two followers

i just tested low and high power engines , yea there is no real difference , i just used boxed wooden car that might be very light and weak , the speed i get from 70 to near 90 at high power , and less 10 KM for low power , but afterall , its look normal speed for me , infact my airplane are very slow , have you tried motorbikes and do some tweaks like make them looks like cars , or cars with motorbike engines ?, ididn't built bikes before so i don't know about them , just used story mode gifted one

motorbike engines ?

This one I have not tried until now, the motorbike still takes the same engine as a car, but with the motorbike wheels the speed is much more liveable, less then 60kph. That was with a quick test build for me and two followers, I made a quad. Now to see if I can make one that looks good. Thank you for the idea.
Airplanes for me travel at eather 25kph or well over 100kph, I have not found anything inbetween.
Wait, I now have a airplane or know how to get the airspeed up to 50kph. I can live with that for now. It is to bad that some of the birds can fly faster

No problem , about the airplanes , i think if you put more rotors it will improve your speed , put some vertical rotors to give you more thrust , i made a trick with my armed heli that i put 2 main rotors intesecting in same place which it improve the speed a little and gives 90 as maximum speed , you can see it at my workshop , i'll share the link if you'd like

i feel a big part of the driveing prob comes from how the game runs with random dips and jumps in fps and running speed, i dont know if they are linked (if game runs at the frame rate) the game still needs work. i also get probs with driveing and my pc is a beast.

If you meant movement freezes in adventure mode while driving fast , it's terrain gen issue , the game freezes the vehicle movement until the terrain gen gen complete at far sight , however you can reduce this by enabling voxel cache , it will save the areas that you visited in your hdd, more memory but less problem with movement freezes because it's just load the area no gen process from old areas
