Low Frame rates :( due to unoptimized game?

Reading others discussions it seems that i'm not the only one having tthis problem. Getting an fps as low as 5 in some areas and 150 in others (Looks great tho). Tryed the lowest and highest setting's didnt resolve the issue. CPU and GPU are no where near 100%. So my guess that it being a new game it just hasnt been optimized for my particular system or many others. So I eagerly await a patch to continue this epic saga!

Oooor.. have I missed something completely missed something that may have caused this?

I'm actually having the same issue. I'm running the game on a Mac. Everything is so slow... It's almost impossible for me to play it.
I own a OSX Version 10.9.3 with 2.8 GHz Intel Core I7 Processor and 8Go of RAM. I thought it would work well...

It was everything ok until Europolis. The framerate is terrible here.

Does your mac have a dedicated GPU?

I have a 2010 Acer with Windows. Some of the cutscenes are slow while others are alright. Movement seems fine so far, and the settings do not change the slowness of videos. Is that the same issue?

Yup, I'm getting terrible framerate too and changing settings does nothing!

Same here. Stopped at Europolis. My FPS dropped to abysmally low ammount.

same, had around 60-70 framerate until Europolis, then it went down to 20.
but, whatever, its just a good reason for me to start thinking about building my new rig.
but I wanted to build it in early 2015....

have a budget for around 1000 euro, but might drop the AMD cards this time and go for a Nvidia.

It would really help us optimiz the game if you could tell me exactly where you noticed a drop in the framerate. Even better if you have any screenshots. Thanks for the feedback! We're looking into these issues.

you have any idea why my audio doesnt work on any savefiles after I reloaded at europolis? all my savefiles lack audio now.

the game works, and is def playable but have no audio at all.

After coming out of Roman's place, performance took a nosedive. I'm on an i5-2500K and GTX 970.

Framerate at Europolis is terrible. Hope devs will fix it.

I know this is an issue, so i'm just going to wait for a fix (hopefully). In Europolis from 50-60FPS went to 5-10FPS. I changed thhetings to Low and Resolutiont to 720p I only got an increase of 5fps (10-15), I have a quad core cpu/760gtx oc/8gb ram
