the longest journey remastered ?
so maybe a the longest journey remastered ? she sais she would like to go back but at the same time she dont want to mess with it

I'm afraid that is unlikely. RTG the producers of Dreamfall Chapters does not own TLJ. It is owned by Funcom. There is no indication that Funcom has any interest in remastering TLJ.

Yes. I think the Steam Version is a remaster too. I thought you were talking about a future reworking of the game to bring it more in line with DF and DFC.

Current Steam, version is not a remaster, alas, and has quite a few issues with modern systems. It would be great to see at least a compatibility upgrade. But oh well.

They didn't want to bother themselves with an Android port, not to mention full HD remaster.

It would be lovely, esp as it's best to play all the games to know the full story and first one has issuses on newer systems (still the versions on GOG/Steam works better than if you would try to play the retail version from way back) but unlikely, as people mentioned here about the rights and all, also not sure if RTG would have the time/money/people to do that anyway even if they could.

I would totally root for this happening/buying the rights or just license. I mean according to Wikipedia, Chapters is in the top 20 most successful video games that were crowdfunded. TLJ remaster would go a long way. Or even straightening Dreamfall out a bit (especially the movement and cameras... wow, makes me furious just thinking of that particular aspect).

TLJ runs fine in Virtual Machines with Windows XP, no issues but still 640x480 and no AA, it would be great to see a remastered in the future.
