i'll probably buy the longest journey soon and then play all over again. ^^
Was sceptical about this game, but I enjoyed it a lot. Very cool sci-fi parts and nice graphics too. I like that the game does not shy away from political topics as well and even if writing sometimes flounders, core concepts are very solid and fleshed out in an interesting way.
TLJ was a masterpiece for its time. Although its graphics are dated by today's standards it is still a very fun game.
I never expected any type of sequal so a few years ago I was looking at games in a GameStop and saw Dreamfall: TLJ. It was a very good game too but ended on a cliffhanger which was disappointing.
It's been 10 years waiting for the conclusion.
I think the games are well worth playing. If you don't want to play TLJ because of its graphics then I'd definitely watch a gameplay video. There are many good ones on youtube.
I can't imagine someone picking up DFC without any prior knowledge and understanding all the backstories and lore. There is just too many references to things in the previous games for that.
