Thoughts about the end.... Spoiler

What do you think about the end? ... Spoiler...

I haven't played the game for 1,5 years. I stopped playing because I knew it is the end. We had to wait so long for the chapters that I could not continue to play. The Longest Journey, Dreamfall and The Dreamfall Chapters have the best story I've ever played in a game.
Now I'm really frustrated that the chapters are ending and I'm a sad and I'm not so very much satisfied with the end and there will be no part 4. What do you think of the end of the game?

It ends quite fine, loops into first game actually.

It kinda makes no sense for me. I don't understand Westhouse's motivations at all. In first game April offered him journey home but he refused saying he is actually kinda happy in Arcadia. Then his last bottle of bandy dries out and he suddenly is prophet now. And since undreaming itself is not a danger (it wants to reunite with Luxe which is in arcadia, just like undreaming) why the hell go full Hitler just to cross the divide? i don't get it.

If I understood proberly, he was sent to Arcadia by Zoe's mother to work on uniting worlds from both sides. Then he got undreaming in him and after some time went renegade due to home sickness or something. Then went on his own quest to get back or conquer everything or both.

When April met him he was Prophet already for a long time, working gradually on his plan. Saying he didn't want to return to April was his undercover story.

I'm not sure who Saga was. Where did she come from, in which intention? A character I could not estimate. She loved Kian, but Anna loved him also and Ena. We know that Zoe became old, with Reza probably. But was happens to Kian and where was Anna at the end?
April and crow together in the dreamtime, Very emotial moment. Saga found crow and revived him?

Saga is April Ryan reborn. In the very beginnig of Chapters it's shown that during April's funeral Saga is born.
As a little girl she has knowledge of April's adventures in TLJ. Including things that April didn't know, ie shadow inside Westhouse.

After events of Chapters she acts as Kian's daughter and takes Alvane surname. She didn't have surname prior to that.

In the very end old Saga(as Lady Alvane) is visited by April Ryand during events of TLJ. There's some time loop or something similar present, obviously.

Its more like Crow was reborn. Probably very much like April was reborn in Saga.


Did you see all 5th chapter cinematics? There are Kian and Saga in Azadir, small version of Crow on her shoulder. It is implied Kian will be named "Bloodless King" at some point etc.

At the start of the game when Saga is a toddler she meets a ghost figure in the living room who says that Saga is her daughter and sister.
Who is that visitor? April? That's weird because her mother is sitting in the next room.

Thoroughly unsatisfying because we are teased about April-Reborn-as-Saga's story, but we never get to actually witness it. We were pretty much cheated, to be honest.
