Long ass prologue and no skip function
Im not sure why this was considered to be a smart move, seems like half of the players leave before they even reach the main game

While I did enjoy the prologue and playing at the start my real disappointment was the lack of summon currency!

Yeah there should be a skip button

It literally takes 15 minutes max. Get a grip.

o.o no it does not. LOL i'd give you a clown award, but like... this is just bait at the MAX haha
If you look at the news section, the devs decided to REMOVE the skip function (which means that it must have been present in the beta test) and the reason they gave was random BS that made absolutely no sense (Iirc, it was "we removed the skip function because we felt that players wouldnt understand the story if we left it there" or something around those lines). This means that, unfortunately, we're stuck with manually skipping the story. The devs have been doing so much weird ♥♥♥♥ with this game. Its almost like they want the game to die as fast as possible for some reason.

EDIT: Its in the "Update 1.0" post in the news section.

■ Development Team Insight

The development team has made the difficult decision to remove the story fast-forward feature from the release version. After talking it over, we realized it could make it hard for players to follow the story and might cause problems when you get to the climax.

Since this feature is important for the overall story experience, we will continue exploring better implementation options by analyzing player reactions and gameplay habits going forward.

"we realized it could make it hard for players to follow the story"
We wanna skip the darn thing, not follow it... :steamfacepalm:

an easy win for i guess them as well, is to just have a fast forward button. you can skip it via fast forward, but like read REAL fast at the same time. then add a slider for ppl who want it even FASTER. lol i mean thats what a log is there for! you know... THE LOG lolol ugh. devs are ughh why take away our FAST FORWARD. it was an easy win lolol THEY HAD IT and blew it

This just keeps getting better... skip button removed. If someone is bored by the story or are here for the gameplay they are still going to smash the dialogue away fast as possible without paying any attention, and now you are forcing to waste their time...

And gacha games are often played in short bursts you might not have the time to read a long story section, and most gachas puts past story scenes into a separate menu so you can watch/read later what you missed on.

EOS speedrun incoming with bad decisions and predatory monetization, but they still have time to change things.

Gacha fans when they need to engage with the actual game instead of just gambling

Im not sure if any of yall are very familiar with gacha, but they are usually played in short bursts. Some people have jobs and like to get to the gameplay/gamble parts ASAP. Its something meant to be played on the side, except your a broke neet probably and have nothing except a phone and Mihoyo games on it. If you love the story, by all means, savior it, but why is it too much to ask for a skip button

That being said, Zenless Zone Zero is far better than this in every aspect either way, so not sure why you would settle here, except ur a coping Danganronpa fan

Seems like I went too far anyways, even if it was the truth.
In the end it doesn't matter anyways I suppose, cause I'm just a simple player like everyone else, nothing special, so what would it change if I actually speak up?

Well nothing as we see, cause my message got deleted, rip freedom of speech and welcome censoring.

There are players who like the game, there are players who don't like the game.
It is what it is, in the end everyone should just play what he personally enjoys the most.

Let's just see what the future will bring I guess.

I'm tired of typing now, kinda exhausted tbh.

Kind Regards
