Playing in fullscreen?
The game starts in windowed, or "FakeWindowed", for me (I assume because of my multi-monitor setup). Anyone know how to force the game to play in fullscreen? This wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for constant FPS dips.

Also, how hard would it have been to include this option in the options menu? I know this is WayForward's first PC release, but come on!

Alt+Return

Alt+Enter sends the game to the next monitor.

When I play, it sets it to fullscreen.

As big of a pain as it is, I'll try disabling all my monitors.

There is no "true" fullscreen mode.

That's not full screen mode, that's a borderless windowed mode.

Totally different on the back end, but it looks the same.

wait, do you mean for multiple monitors or including just 1 screen

Go into the data directory and find the .ini fine "engine" change the fake full screen mode to 0. I've been having the same problem with the fps drops and it's making it unplayable. I'm about to try this now - I'll report back if it works or not.

Nevermind. Doesn't work at all. This FPS drop issue is making it unplayable for me.

Sheepdog, do you know what model your video card is?

I have an EVGA 670 FTW 2GB.

Should be beefy enough, pretty sure we tested on rigs along those lines (actually, that's better than the nv card I have in my work machine). Tried turning desktop composition off?

The GPU is definitely sufficient. I was hoping there was some known issue with it.
I'm trying it with desktop composition off right now, fingers crossed.

Turning desktop composition off seems to have done the trick! Thanks for the tip.

Not a great fix of course, but a workaround for now. I'll work in proper full screen for if/when a patch comes out (sorry I can't give a date or confirmation on that, just an engine programmer).
