DuckTales Remastered

Statistiche:
Game only shows 1/4 of screen
For some reason my game is only showing on 1/4 of the screen. All graphic drivers up to date, windows up to date and it was the first game I installed in steam when I reinstalled steam. The game is running, sound video just only see 1/4 of it anyone have a solution?

Hey man, I'm having the same issue I think. Game looks like this -

So, I was able to fix it by going to the games files --> data --> engine then changing settings to:

[window]
width=1920
height=1080
fakeFullScreen=0
fakeFullScreenMonitor=0
Thanks I'll give that a shot I want to play in 4k so i'll input the dimensions of that and see what happens. You actually seem to be seeing more than I am. While it's still a quarter of the screen my screen may be a different resolution giving me less to see.
Hey rayy! I can't seem to find that directory is this something I type into advanced for launch options I found the game in my steam library but didn't see anything there.

You should be able to find it in your local disk, commonly the C:\ drive. Should look something like this: C:\ -->Program Files x86 --> Steam --> Steamapps --> Common --> Ducktales Remastered --> Data

Every "-->" is the next folder in. The "engine" file should be the very first one in that folder but it is a PAK file so I'm not entirely sure you can edit that one. You could try instead to go into the"executable" folder instead of the "data" folder, right click on the "Ducktales" application, then click on properties and run the compatibility trouble shooter. That would honestly be my suggestion and most likely your best bet.

Good luck!

Edit: This is an old NES game that was remastered in 2013. Not entirely sure you'll be able to run it in actual 4k but either way you should at least get to see it full screen :)

oh I know it's an old nes game I'm a big NES collector over 400 games including mint copies of Ducktales 1 and 2 :) Thank's for the info I'll give it a shot sometimes in the next few days. I run bootcamp on a brand new mac mini. Which I know isn't the problem because in my virtual windows on the Mac side the game runs perfectly which is odd.

How did you do this?
did not work for me. change res in game menu to 1440x900 and it will work full screen
Hey Tigger I can't see the menu in game though because I only see 1/4 of the screen and that's the upper left corner :( I tried what SethTalley1 suggested as well and that didn't work for me either. The super odd thing is it will work just fine in a virtual windows setting but won't work in a natural windows environment.
I managed to see enough to set it to 1440*900 what size screen have you got.
2x 27in 4k UHD monitors. All I see is Duc LOL and as far as down goes no menu. I have an idea maybe if I set it in the virtual machine boot over to windows it will work...
I've finally found CAPCOMS support section and have reached out to them. I was able to find the resolution options in the dark and tried every one just by moving the arrows hitting enter etc... nothing activated the other 3/4 of the screen. I'll post whatever they send me.
Yeah it's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be a simple fix that works for everyone :( Hope you can get it running though! It's a good little game.
Oh I know it is as I mentioned I have the original and the second on in mint in my massive NES collection :)
