Report a translation problem
1 - The game files have been corrupted. Uninstalling and reinstalling should fix this (which you've already tried).
2 - You've installed something on your computer since starting the game that is interferring with the game. Certain audio manager programs in particular have been known to mess things up at times.

#3. Uninstalled this, but no difference. The executable launches for about a second in the task manager, then closes with no error messages.
