Can't login, says "account not activated".

I can't log into the game via steam. It says my account is not activated when I try, but it is. When I activate the e-mailed link again, it says my account has already been activated. Anyone have the same problem or knows how to fix this?

I'm having this issue aswell, I launched in Steam and registered; never recieved the email - went to their website and registered, got the email and activated account; now when I launch in Steam it says the same as yours.

I think you can try going to the website and logging in there. Check your account info, even if you don't do anything else. That might help the servers 'recognize' that your account is active. Otherwise, I dunno what else to do.

Is there anyway to reroute the account that is registered to my Steam account with a different account that I can make on the website?

Thanks, but I've tried this a couple of times, it says on the website "Your account has already been activated".
I don't know what to do, the IE bug isn't the cause of the problem too. I don't feel like running around half a day on the interwebz to find a solution for this.

I deleted local content from Elsword en reinstalled it, but still get the same bullsh*t. The non-Steam version works with my account, for me though.

Ditto, whats happening is that Steam is trying to connect to the "unactivated" account that we are having issues with, as far as I can tell you cant make it redial to a different account - like the ones created online.

I am also having an issue, does any one know how to fully wipe eldword from steam (delete local content still holds files like my account), I also never received an email and made an account on the site. Any info would be nice.

STEAM > Library > Elsword (right click) > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files > elsword.

or just go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Elsword and then click in "elsword"

It works to play the game (I had the site client installed so that was not an issue), it however does not say you are playing in steam and you do not get the benefit of the 30 day "elsword on steam" title and any other benefits if there are any.

Yes it works to play the game, however it does not work to play the game and have it recognize you are playing through steam. The current issue is that account verification email was never sent (perhaps a IE issue). I am trying to get a fresh install or first time launch to happen currently steam remembers the account email I put in and will not let me change it... or anything all I get is "account not validated" when launching through steam library.

GRI3V3RAY's tip is a solution if you did not have the client from the site installed, however you still cant launch from steam library... and the issue of the email and account is still not solved at least for me.

When you activate your account through browser like IE,Chrome,Firefox,etc that will activated your account in your PC not in steam, i dont know what i'm talk'n about but it's true.
If you wanna play Elsword through steam, you have to activate the account WITH steam BROWSER
if you dont know, follow this steps... First, you must have recieve the activate account confirmation email.
Open Steam > View > Big Picture Mode > Web > Search the web that you used to open your email > Open activate confirmation mail > Click the Link > Done ^-^
Now you can play elsword through steam.
I dont know this will solve all your prob... but its really work for me as well.
