Stamina?
I remember playing this game about a year or 2 ago does it still have that stamina thing that limited the amount of dungeons you could do each day? That was pretty dumb.

Yes it's still there. Stamina is unlimited on the weekends tho.

So, basically, play on Weekends, find something else to do in the weekday. Probably the only thing I cannot stand about the game since CBT is that they refuse to let the adults who play this be without restrictions. But oh well.

That's the only reason that I'm not playing this game, Stamina. The game is fun, I enjoy playing it, I enjoy the character classes. I have stopped playing it, and stuck with Grand Chase when I need something like it. Grand Chase has no stamina, is the originator for the series, and is just generally casual, enjoyable fun. Elsword has the ability to offer it... to get my business, and my money... but they don't, and won't. So I spend it elsewhere, and play elsewhere.

Stamina isn't that bad considering you can get a lot done in one day to be honest

Howdy,

We do have a stmaina system in-game, however, you can actually get about 4 hours of gameplay each day. No Stamina is use in PvP and very little is consumed in the fields. During the weekend it's unlimited. :-)

Either way give it a shot! You might find that this is more than enough to play! ;-)
Have fun!!

What exactley is the purpose of stamina?
Sirial Jul 24, 2013 @ 7:13pm
to prevent people from hitting the level cap (60) in one day
Can't you do that by reducing the amount of xp given

The point of stamina? To be honest, there is none. It's a law over in Korea, since some people were playing so long and so hard that they were dying. Their government, deciding that they were the supreme protectors of their people, decided to do something about it, forcing all games to have some sort of stamina or timer built into the game.

Our version continues to have stamina, even though there's no reason to have it, save for some of the community crying about that it stops power leveling and imbalance with "no-lifers"... 2 years after the game came out of beta. So take your pick on what the reason is, I certainly can't come up with one, and the team hosting the game refuse to do anything about it.

My suggestion to you would be to check out Vindictus or Dragon Nest, if Stamina turns you off. They're all action games, with Vindictus being more like a lobby based Monster Hunter (realistic and slow), and Dragon Nest being more like an stylish anime action game. If you deeply and truly desire platformers, off the top of my head I really can't recommend much. MapleStory and La Tale could fill that void, but they're built more for grinding/leveling endlessly, with Elsword having a max you can hit.

Dragon Nest has stam as well. I've played both games(DN more so) and from what I can tell, you aren't really being restricted. I've played Elsword for almost 5 hours today and I'm not even at 50% stam. If you NEED to play for what looks like 8+ hours a day to burn through the stamina, well I don't know what to tell you.

Imo, it's not that bad.

LOL I was kinda peed off at the 7 day wait after deleting a character, but after reading this thread... this game sounds 1000x worse than Maple Story when it comes to P2W

I'm a pvp player so I don't really do dungeons. But I don't like stamina.

Oh boy a whole 4 hours? Woahhhhhh.... Why would ANYONE want to do that when they can play a game like Rift for FREE and have unlimited access to dungeons etc??

But let me ask (i already posted in the "Is it pay 2 win ?" thread just now) , can you still obtain those bottles that refill it ? Cause i remember back when i still played , you could simply get those bottles that refill your stamina by being the "Master / Teacher" of someone (a new player ofc) if he then reached lvl 10 or 15 or something , you got some. Even as a low level i still had lots of them back then xD so actually i could technically play permanently.
