X-TRAP????

There's some anti-cheat program included in this game, "X-TRAP", it classified my "process hacker" software as a "cheat/hack", WTF???? it's just a task manager like windows task manager. I ain't un-installing my process hacker software to play this game.

Can't you just disable it while the game is running? I know Process Explorer fires a similar false positive, but only when it is running.

Yeah, I think you can get around it if you temporarily disable the process hacker. I have to shut down my auto-key software as well, but it's really not that big of a deal in the long run.

X-Trap is a rootkit DRM. You can't get around it and it will shut the game down if you are running anything but vanilla on your computer. It is your typical Korean-published-game unnecesssary anti-hack program that can mess with your System 32.

Almost all games running X-trap have technical problems that are never addressed. It's never worth running a game with X-trap, no matter how cool it looks.

Another good looking game crippled by Korean crapware... I swear it would be much easier on the player to integrate the game with steamworks.

Yea as Blackwall said x-trap is horrible and honestly this game looks so fun and would be great to stream but x-crap (which is the real name) messes with a lot of other programs also such as skype... i think all devs need to stay away from x-crap (maybe it is so cheap idk) it does nothing to stop hackers what so ever and messes with other programs on your PC, we must find this x-crap and burn it with FIRE!

At least it's not punkbuster, amirite? You have to dig deep to uninstall that ♥♥♥♥. At least you can remove xtrap easily enough.

punkbuster is easy to uninstall as is x-crap but at least punkbuster catchs cheaters/hackers, x-crap does nothing

I uninstall the game, no X-trap found on my PC, Thank god for this thread. thanks for the head up. shame this game is nice but the X-Trap i saw in this thread made me uninstall the game. this is like Starforce back in the day.

Xtrap appears to be preventing the game from running on my system, no idea why. Im not running anything that should trigger it.

x-trap.... I can't remember the last game I had that in.
Well since this isn't a steam game, I think I'll download it properly from their site and use sandboxie to keep me safe.

X-trap is fine, and I've never had a single problem with it.

It is also never running when you aren't playing the game, so it is literally doing nothing but looking for cheaters.

I don't recall ever having problems with it in grandchase, it even let me use my gamepad profiler and let me set up macros, which is essentially cheating :)

In this case I would build my own :)

It's actually pretty easy to write a simple program that adds a key hook and runs another key in it's place.
