Hello everybody, I'am making a new character for the first time and it doesnt accept my name (MegaRayman) i says that it is invaild, can some halp ?

That name has already been taken apparently, (so have a TON of other nicknames) so you just have to keep coming up with some nicknames until it'll let you into the game.

Your name is pretty much generic or would I say overused. Try to think on a name that nobody uses or even comes to their minds.



I suggest you to opt between 2 ways, or do both from A to B (I recommend that):

Go to google translate and make it translate from your language to Latin, Greek or any other ancient language. After finding a word that interests you, then proceed to the search from the B method.

Think of a name then search it on Google, or try to find someone on Steam with that name (via "Add a Friend..."). If the results of that name are near to zero or even non-existent, then pick that name.

Like my Rena is RenaStena.
Eve is Evester101 (I think 101, never used her).

BTW... Is that really hard to pick an unique name? Having 1, 11, 1539... sounds like a prisioner's name, in my opinion.




Now, ... the multiple X's or the i's addition to the name (like xxXNameXxx or iName) sound like, to be honest, a name to forget. And when I'm speaking about forgetting I'm talking about loss of memory, like a name that looks as discardable as a condom and you don't remeber when you used it.

You can try adding your country tag (like "PL"). But your name will be only reflecting your country... instead of yourself. (most players from my contry tend to do that... but they are most like "Filthy Common Sense Peasants", not having an identity nor a meaning for themselves)

Still you can try putting one X at the start or at the end of the name to form something that makes some sense, names like "MarkableX", "XDivision", "Xplanation", "XMarksTheSpot" or even "XtheLine" (Cross the Line) may work on this criteria.

You can still try getting names from the ancient Latin or Greek using Google Translator and then check how much users on Steam have this name (the lesser the better, zero users = perfect).

I wanted to name it "Nietskwah" (Hawkstein backwards), but sounds meh... (sounds cool for spying, though)
But yeah, named it like that because he's the opposite of my main (MM).
