Is Skill Slot Change Medal neccesary?
Hello,

I am wondering about the Skill Slot Change Medal and if it's something I am going to need to play this game.

When I buy it, does that mean that I then have 8 skill slots to use whenever I want? or, does it mean I have two sets of 4 skill slots that I have to switch between, with some sort of mechanic that prevents me from just quickly switching between them in the middle of a fight to effectively use all 8 skills at once?

Is this really just optional and it's fine to just focus on using 4 skills?

If you know how to manage and choose which skills is best for both PvE & PvP then you don't necessarily need a additional skill slot. Unless you playing as Aisha that it.

I need to know this too. I hope it let's you use 8 skills because I have such excess skill points since I only use 4.
4 enough,8 is like if you dont wanna manage your skills right.

Some classes need B slot to function properly (as in, they need more than the default 4 at one given time).

Yes you can swithc between skills mid dungeon, but that causes the skill to go on cooldown. Some classes like EM need those skills available at all times to play reasonably well.

And to clarify, it adds four more skill slots, so you can use 8 skills at any time. If you only play with four slots, then you can only have four skills on hand at any time (and like I mentioned before, this is incredibly restrictive when it comes to playing some of the classes).

Some can work around it if they say...have an ability that's only good for bosses, and another thats only good for mobbing or field clearing. You could use one slot and swap between the two during a run (although this requires standing still for two seconds and the skill will be on cooldown after-the-fact). The reason some classes can't really work with this is because nearly all of their skills are situation that they don't have a true "do it all" that other characters are capable of (sometimes without needing skills in the first place).

Yeah, seems kind of annoying dealing with more buttons than you already need to but, that's just me.

1 extra button isn't a big deal. Hell, your hand is positioned perfectly to tap the spacebar at any moment, what's to bad about that?

That's not even how it works (anymore). It gives you 4 extra slots on the QWER keys, for both style of skill display.

Pretty much what YrsofEXP said, it depends on what class you're using, some desperately need it, most don't.
