Apparently, Elsword has a virus...
God, I have so many problems right now.. anyway...

So I was playing Elsword with one of my friends, and I had to leave to go shopping with my dad. I closed everything and turned off my PC (running on windows 7). I came back home to see if my friend was still online, and when I double clicked the little Elsword icon a message came up from AVG (AntiVirus FREE) saying something like this:

! AVG Detection

Threat: Unknown
Object name: (Where Elsword is located) (x86)Kill3rCombo\Elsword\data\x2.exe [More info]

(>) Protect Me
AVG will choose the best method for removing this threat.

(?) More options

Please, anyone, it would be much appreciated if you could help me with this problem. I haven't clicked on anything yet, and I'm desperate to get the game working.

Also, I didn't get this game of Steam. I got it off the official Elsword website... I honestly don't know if that will change anything, but it's worth getting the information out there.

Many Thanks,

~Diamondzcraft

[UPDATE] EVERYTHING HAS BEEN FIXED YAY. I messed around a little and found a way to ignore the "threat".

I just got it yesterday morning too...I believe that x2 file is X-trap. Some anti hack thing for Elsword. I think it is safe to ignore it.

Xtrap is the anti-hacking software the game uses and often will have conflicts with other software. It's the reason why I don't play the game on my main rig

It's your AVG.

Something similar happened to me but instead it was iOBit Advanced System Care, uninstalled it, and everything was fine again, I didn't need it anyway since I have Microsoft Security Essentials and it gets the job done.
