Getting KoG to add East servers or to migrate.
I've finally gotten tired of the lag I've always experience in Elsword. DO not blame my internet. The lag, or latency I should say, has always been around for me because I live on the Eastern Coast of the U.S. while the server is hosted on the Western Coast. My average ping for a server located in California (I believe where the server is hosted) is around 100-130ms. I normally do not notice the lag because the game is just laggy itself, but I definitely see it in PVP. People will just slide right by me, or my hits will just not register. I'll even notice my enemies hits against me will not register, or the hitstun will just not work.

A fix is highly needed. They could simply add Eastern servers, I know this will cost them more money.. but I mean come on. They have to be making a decent amount of money off of K-Ching purchases and advertisements. The other option is to migrate the Western server to a Central server, so it is shared for everyone. (Of course the Central players will have a great outcome)

Anyone agree or disagree? Maybe we can get KoG to do this if we get enough people to argue with them about it.

There is not a chance KOG is going to listen to this post, take it to the elsword forums if you want your voice to be heard, you might even get lucky.

I agree totally. I am also on east coast and I get lag but you will not get anywhere posting it here. You will have post on their official site forums to gather enough support and deal with opposition from anyone who lives on the west coast. They won't just add another server because that will a different "game" altogether like elsword KR and NA or that special Void elsword and what use to be Latam (if I recall that Latin American server used to separate until it was merged to the one on the west coast of US)
zero chance of them migrating the server to cenrral location since they will have maintance it on the new location (i assume).

Yeah, I was trying to form a group here. I was already in doubt of KoG adding or even migrating servers. I've ticketed them once about it and they said they'll forward it to a higher team.. and they never got back to me and just closed my ticket. lmao

I live in the midwest, and I don't have that many problems. So if they had a central server, that would be great for the whole U.S.

well I typed up a huge summary and argument but steam crashed

I'll eventually make a post on the forums there and maybe even a video to get the message out there to other players.

Bumping and moving to Forums soon. This really needs to be heard.

EDIT: Any support will be appreciated.

That's not EXACTLY how lag in this game works. Just saying. The lag in this game is caused by player to player connection. A lot of Aussies, Hispanics, VNs, and Europeans play this game. Probably more than U.S. You live in the East Coast, so that means that players that are from West Coast will lag to you. You will also lag to them. Just not as heavy because you're still somewhat close to them. If you're fighting a player from Australia and you're in the East Coast, you and them will have trouble confirming each other. It really depends on which class is more lag proof and how you handle the lag. Now, there's an exeption. If your net is godlike and you live somewhere in EU, fighting a player from East Coast, you will either experience little to no lag at all. Similar to East Coast vs West Coast. Basically, if you and the player live "close" to each other, you will experience no lag at all. Your net also affects lag too. Although, since the server is in West Coast, people in the West Coast will have a bit more of an advantage to East Coast. East Coast will suffer a little more than they do. Remember, the lag effect is MUTUAL.

I already discussed this on the forums about the peer-to-peer connections with other players. A decided a simple fix is to add dedicated servers to each location. EXE: Western players can choose or be forced to play on the western server, Central players is the same and along with Eastern players.

They have foreigners to worry about too. So they're not gonna fix anything. It's been addressed before. Making more servers for foreigners will just be a lot of work. What about their items? Also, they won't get enough players to play in each servers. Establishing different servers for U.S is kinda iffy too. Again, not enough players. It's a waste of time if you think about it.

I do agree on getting rid of this player to player connection though. But I think that this solution isn't gonna work. I feel that there's another way to do this. I played this game since CBT, KR, and even the ripped off version of Elsword called Fists of Fu to know this. They should just re-work their whole net coding or something.
