Unable to link existing account to steam

When I click play on steam, it just shows registration page without prompting me to login to any previous account. Help?

You can link a pre-existing account, I just did so not too long ago.

yes, i linked mine as well when Elsword came out on Steam, but idk if this is his/her's first time or not

I haven't linked to steam before and I've searched the FAQ and all but it shows to just press play which only shows registration for mine

Actually I believe this version of the game on Steam is for North america/international only...

But if you've tried the game before by downloading the client on Elsword, I suggest vertifying the game files
> Go to Library
> Right click Elsword
> Properties
> Go to the 2nd tab
> Vertify game files

Have you tried downloading the other client from the website? Try logging in through there and I bet that registration page won't show up if you try it through Steam

yea im playing from the non steam launcher, i mean downloaded straight from elsword site

I tried helping out another person on the forum...and I'll repost my solutions AND his:

Alright, I got a lot of possible solutions and idk which one it may be, but it's better than nothing:

1. Clear Cache: Go to settings > Downloads > Clear download cache AND/b] go to settings again > Web Browser > Delete Cache and Cookies
   
2. Reinstall Elsword through Steam - Pretty self-explanatory...lol
   
3. Run the program as admin? lol
   
4. Check your firewall to see if it may be blocked
   
5. If you have an antivirus/virus protection program...check to see if any files may be quarantined (removed because your PC thought it has a virus in it)
   
6. This is not really a solution but...is your email you use for Steam different than the email you used to sign up for Elsword? If that's the case, then you might wanna log into your Elsword account on the website to make sure it matches the email on your Steam
   
7. Try launching the Steam Elsword client MANUALLY W/O STEAM:
   

   > Go to your (C:) Drive/ Computers files on your PC [This PC > (C:)]
   > Program Files (x86) or Program Files (x64) [Whichever one you have]
   > Go to the Steam folder
   > steamapps folder
   > common folder
   > Elsword folder
   > then the ELSWORD.exe application (NOT ESSTEAM, since that's the Steam launch)
   > Click that and login through there and then log out! Then try launching it through Steam again (through your Steam library or ESSTEAM.exe)
   
   OR
   
   > Go to your Steam Library
   > Right-click Elsword and click on "Properties"
   > Go to "Local Files" tab and click "local files"
   > then the ELSWORD.exe application (NOT ESSTEAM, since that's the Steam launch)
   > Click that and login through there and then log out! Then try launching it through Steam again (through your Steam library or ESSTEAM.exe)
   

8. Go to the Elsword folder in your Steam folder
   

   > Go to your Steam Library
   > Right-click Elsword and click on "Properties"
   > Go to "Local Files" tab and click "local files"
   > Delete the "data" folder
   > Go to the "Local Files" tab again and click "Vertify integrity of game files"
   > It should repatch itself and fix any errors that may occur (like resetting the registration page)
   

Try all of these and if none of them work out, then we'll try something out I guess lol but you should also shoot out a ticket to customer service

i seem to have the same issue as you, i am unable to link my account to the steam application

<PROBLEM SOLVED>
Inside of elsword local folder there's two executables .exe : Elsword.exe and ESSTEAM.exe
Change names between executables and the game opened trought your library will ask you the account login.

Tutorial :
Open your Steam Library and Elswords Page
Go to Settings (top right) > Manage > Explore local files
Rename Elsword > ESSTEAM
And Rename ESSTEAM > Elsword

Your steam client will resquest de account login

Note: The executables has different sizes.
